The Service Pistol event is for 9mm and ·38/·357 pistols and consists of 90 shots fired at distances varying from 50 to 7 yards with the pistol loaded and holstered at the commencement of each series.


Shooters must hold a current PA Holster Accreditation to compete or train in this event.
PA Service Pistol targets are used for this event and set in a bank of four targets per shooter
as above. The Service Pistol Unrestricted event for the allowed calibres are ·32 to ·38
This event has the same course of fire as Service Pistol.

This event does not use holstered pistols at the commencement of each series.
The pistol is loaded and placed on the mat at the 50 yard line with the loaded magazines
either on your person or placed on the ground.
Total possible score 900.

* 6 shots Prone = On Target 4.
* 6 shots sitting or kneeling = On Target 3.
* 6 shots right side of barricade = On Target 2.
* 6 shots left side of barricade = On Target 1.
24 shots @ 25 yards
* 6 shots right side of barricade = On Target. 4. 15 Seconds
* 6 shots left side of barricade = On Target. 3. 15 Seconds
* 6 shots from each the right and left side __of barricade = On Targets 1 & 2. 35 Seconds
12 shots @ 25 yards
* 6 shots, 3 = On Targets 1 & 2, any order. 6 Seconds
* 6 shots, 2= On Targets 2, 3, & 4 any order. 6 Seconds
18 shots @ 10 yards
* 6 shots = On

 Target 4. 4 Seconds
* 6 shots on , three shots with each hand ---only = On Target 3. 8 Seconds
* 6 shots, 3 shot on Target 1 & Target 2, any order. 4 Seconds
12 shots @ 7 yards
* 6 shots with the pistol below the
unsited (Below Shoulder Height) = On		 Target 1 & Target 2, any order. 15 Seconds
